Review: Queen of Hearts Banquet Hall – A Must-Try Restaurant at Tokyo Disneyland
The Queen of Hearts Banquet Hall is one of the most popular dining spots in Tokyo Disneyland, often with long lines—especially around lunchtime when it gets the busiest. But trust me, it’s absolutely worth the wait! The moment you step inside, it feels like you’ve fallen straight into Alice’s Wonderland. The entrance is designed like a whimsical maze corridor, with adorable card soldiers standing guard along the way — a perfect start to this magical dining experience.

Menu and Dining Experience at the Queen of Hearts Banquet Hall
The main concept of this restaurant is that guests are treated as visitors to the Queen of Hearts’ castle from Alice in Wonderland. The entire menu—from savory dishes to desserts—is designed around the whimsical Wonderland theme.
The dining style here is self-service, where guests line up at the food counters to place their orders. Cast Members will prepare each dish fresh according to your selection. During peak hours, some dishes are pre-arranged for convenience, allowing guests to simply pick their preferred items and proceed to the cashier—quick, efficient, and surprisingly smooth!
Now, you might be wondering, “Doesn’t that mean the food will get cold if it’s left out?” Not at all! Each dish is kept perfectly warm and freshly made. Only a few portions (about 3–4 plates per dish) are placed out at a time, and as soon as one is picked up, Cast Members immediately replace it with a new, hot serving. So every plate that reaches you is freshly prepared, aromatic, and absolutely delicious.

My Honest Thoughts After Dining at Queen of Hearts Banquet Hall 👑🍽️
I actually ordered all four of the main dishes — though I completely forgot to take a photo of the Japanese-style sirloin steak (my bad… it looked too good 😂). Here’s how I’d personally rank them:
🥇1. Hamburg Steak with Cheese & Demi-glace Sauce – Hands down my favorite! The patty was juicy and fragrant, and the rich demi-glace paired perfectly with the creamy, slightly salty cheese. I loved it so much I came back the next day just to eat it again.
🥈2. Salmon with White Seafood Sauce – The salmon was tender and buttery, with a light, creamy seafood sauce that was perfectly balanced. It’s mild and easy to eat — a very satisfying dish.
🥉3. Grilled Chicken with Sauce – The chicken was soft and juicy, though the sauce wasn’t quite as rich as the hamburg’s demi-glace. Still delicious and comforting in its simplicity.
4. Japanese-style Sirloin Steak – The sauce was flavorful and fragrant, and the meat came medium-rare. Personally, after trying the softer textures of the other dishes, the steak felt a bit firmer by comparison — not tough, just slightly more to chew. Still enjoyable, but my least favorite of the four.
Overall, every dish was tasty, freshly prepared, and beautifully presented — but that cheesy hamburg steak completely stole my heart ❤️
I ordered the custard pudding with the souvenir cup, which you can take home after eating — such a cute keepsake! Some people might worry it’s hard to clean or carry around afterward, but no need to stress. The pudding actually comes in a separate plastic cup that fits snugly inside the souvenir glass. You can simply lift the plastic cup out, enjoy your pudding, and then slip the clean glass straight into your bag — no mess at all! 💖
Is Queen of Hearts Banquet Hall Worth It? 👑🍴
In my opinion, Queen of Hearts Banquet Hall is hands down the best restaurant inside Tokyo Disneyland! Every dish, dessert, and drink I tried was genuinely delicious — and from asking friends and other visitors who’ve eaten here, everyone said the same thing: this place is a must-try. 🍽️✨
The portions are generous, the flavors are well-balanced, and everything feels freshly made. One of my friends even said, “If you’ve eaten somewhere in the park and it wasn’t great… just come here and order the Cheese Hamburg Steak with Demi-glace Sauce — it’ll fix everything.” 😂💯
Of course, this review is based on my personal experience, but if you’re deciding where to eat in Tokyo Disneyland, consider this my honest recommendation — a royal feast that truly lives up to its Wonderland magic. ❤️
